What is your minimum order?
Our minimum order is 12 pieces per design but some complex designs require a larger minimum.
Can I mix and match garments to meet the minimum order requirements (e.g. shirts, tanks, long sleeves, etc..)?
Garments sizes, styles, and colors may be mixed as long as the art stays the same. Fees may be incurred if an ink color change is required.
Why is my order 2 shirts short? What gives man?!?!
As screen printers we can't control everything with our garments. Occasionally, defective garments arrive, misprints occur, and screens break. This doesn't happen often but we do ask that you allow for up to 4% shortage on your order. For the most part, this is a rare event but it never hurts to order extras. If you need exact numbers, please note this when you place your order. In the case that your order is short, we do not charge you for the missing garments.
What type of payments do you accept?
Payment is accepted online with Visa, MasterCard, Amex, or Discover. We do accept cash and checks for local pick-up orders. A deposit is required for new customers and sometimes for repeat customers placing larger orders.
What is an underbase print?
When printing on dark shirts we usually need to put down a layer of white ink under the colors in order to make the the colors stand out and have opacity, this is called an "underbase". This "underbase" will count as an additional print color in your design, even if there is visually no white in your design.
What is your turn over time?
Our typical turn over time is typically 7-14 business days, but this tends to fluctuate depending on the job. And what is on our print schedule already. When placing an order we will give you a quote on the time frame we are working with. Please note your deadline when placing your order. We do offer a rush service for orders that need to be completed in less than 7 days. A 30% rush fee will be added.

Can you print on (insert miscellaneous material here)?
If its flat, generally speaking we can print on it by matching the ink to the substrate. While it may not always be economical for us to do so, we do take special requests. Send your inquiry to info@townsendprinting.com
Can I provide my own garments?
We will gladly print on any garments that you provide upon approval of said garment. We do recommend providing an extra piece or two in case of a defect or misprint. If you don't have your own garments, feel free to check out our wholesalers @ www.orderacc.com, www.virginiats.com and www.sanmar.com.
Can you create a design or logo for me?
Sure! We have an artist on staff and also work with freelance graphic designers that will gladly help you create the perfect design for your business or event. The rate for the graphic design is $60 an hour, billed in half hour increments.
